Generally French-minded people don't like at all our language, and they have tried by all possible means since 700 years to make it disappear from our country, Southern France, which is thought to be only the holidays place of Northern French. Until now they failed to suppress our culture, which is quite huge, but not easy to access.
We are extremely glad to discover an interest for us all over the world, outside of France, among cultivated people. Therefore, if you want some more pages translated into English, or some more information, please ask!
A lot of pages are dedicated to mediaeval occitan, since Montpellier during the XIIth and XIIIth centuries was one of the leading centers of this culture. I give a personal lexicon of this old language which is the biggest up to date on the web. Fully free, of course. All that is ever in progress and regularly updated.
